Audio Baseline #
Audio Baseline is a basically a blog about audio engineering and acoustics. Amid the countless sources repeating various (and often strange) myths about audio, I want to provide people with high-quality, informative, and educational content. My dream is to bring together sound enthusiasts, and a natural step toward that goal is running a blog on this subject.
Who Am I?#
My name is Karol Sazonow, and I am the man behind Audio Baseline. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a specialization in acoustics and audio systems. I started my journey with sound through music production.
I worked in recording studios and was involved in sound design for movies and commercials. Over time, my interests and work gradually evolved in a more technical and engineering direction.
Currently, I work as an Application Engineer at Svantek, where I focus on the application of sound and vibration measurement equipment – I train measurement professionals, support system implementations, and coordinate larger projects such as noise measurements on the International Space Station. My greatest passion is loudspeaker design, which I pursue as a hobby in my free time.
